Recognition:
The project offers formal recognition for contributions across four levels:
  • Donor ($100+): A listing on the Partners page of the web site.
  • Supporter ($1000+): A listing on the Partners page of the web site with a logo, web link and 50 words of support or business description.
  • Benefactor ($5000+): Same as above. Cash (rather than in-kind) donors also recieve a listing with logo and web link on the Benefactors section on every public page on the web site.
  • Sustaining Benefactors ($10,000): Same as above, plus a listing on the permanent plaque at the site
All donors will also be listed in the Chewonki Annual Report (no distinction will be made between giving levels in this publication).

August 10, 2004: Personal donations help us complete our goal to raise $165,000 cash funding!

August 9, 2004: The Science Source donates $500.

June 14, 2004: $10,000 anonymous donation puts us within $2,000 of our goal!

June 12, 2004: Hydrogen Energy Center donates $2,500.

April 2, 2004: PraxAir, Inc. donates $5,000.

March 16, 2004: Personal donations exceed $10,000.

February 12, 2004: U.S. Department of Energy awards $5,000 grant.

February 1, 2004: Personal donation of $6,881.

January 31, 2004: Maine Public Utilities Commission (PUC) contracts for $4,673 to develop specific educational materials.

December 30, 2003: Burnham Charitable Trust awards $5000.

December 10, 2003: Maine Technology Institute awards $120,000 to the Chewonki Renewable Hydrogen Project! $80,000 as a Cluster Grant, $40,000 from Maine's Renewable Resource Matching Fund.

November 22, 2003: Northwest Point awards $500.
